I want to take a moment to thank everyone who came out Friday to the TNA Impact Wrestling event in Bristol, TN. That was mine and Misty's first town as promoters for them and everyone seemed please with the event. It was a big fund raiser for the Vance Middle School athletics.

I also was on the street promoting this coming Thursdays big live TV special Genesis in Huntsville, AL. I'll be watching from my recovery bed at home. |

Now on to the new challenge of the new year. As I writ this I'm 14 hours away from back surgery. I have had many injuries of the years. I have gritted and went one. IN 1997 I had a minor back surgery (if there is such a thing). Years of being in the ring and hundreds of thousands of miles riding in the car to events and back have caused me trouble. The last two years I have battle through worsting pain. Christmas Night with a swing of a baseball bat Frank Parker caused serious damage.

The last few weeks pain has been awful. I battle through the pain to fulfill my duties promoting for TNA. I will be in the care of Dr. Thomas who comes with high recommendations and praise. I have met with him and really like the guy. I'm being told that I'm looking at one year being out of the ring. This is hard news to take.
Wrestling is not a hobby, nor just a job its a way of life for me. When I die Misty knows I want on my grave stone "Beau James Pro Wrestler". The one constant in my life since I was 15 years old has been the fact that I'm booked and have towns to make. I unpacked my bag this week and put my gear up for the first time in my life. I have a few appearances this year. I have been told by TNA I will have more towns to promote when I'm ready.
The family business SSW will roll on. Nephew Dakota Booth is doing TV. Jake and Misty will be doing what ever needs to be done. They also are still taking bookings. So I will make some towns with them when I'm able.
To say I'm freaking out a little bit is an understatement. To say I'm worried and nervous about my future is also an understatement. I have always survived by wrestling. I chose it to take care of me and I have some how some way made it all these years.
Dr. Thomas said I will have about 8 weeks of time that I need to rest and heal. That means 8 weeks of not working and limited income. I in my prayers have turned all this over to the big Booker upstairs. Many of you have emailed me and told me you will be praying. I say Thank YOU. Please keep praying and also pray for Misty and my family. I know I will drive them nuts during all of this.

I'm also extending the Christmas Sale on my books as it will now be a broke my back for wrestling sale both my books for only $35.
